Ramble down the rabbit hole and meander through the looking glass with visual stories that take you to otherworldly but familiar corners of time and space to escape, feel, remember, and forget. My work is influenced by authors like Lewis Carroll, Douglas Adams, Roald Dahl, and JRR Tolkien. Although my collection is eclectic, there are common themes and stylistic elements that connect these works.

Female imagery is prominent and my love of Science Fiction and Fantasy informs nearly every piece. Most works are of surreal yet familiar scenes that juxtapose human-constructed and synthetic elements with organic and natural ones in environments like mossy forests or transparent blue seas. Open skies at night often belie extraterrestrial settings. Fantastic creatures are native to these worlds and sometimes take center stage. The theme of environmentalism and love of nature pervades much of my work which is made with recycled or upcycled materials. There is a story behind every piece.

Stylistically, much of my art is bound by its tilted or wobbly perspective, vibrant and contrasting colors, and a bold and blunt outlining that creates intensity and depth. These devices lend to the dreamlike and whimsical nature of the worlds I have created and convey my insouciant approach to telling a story. Although I have created my own narrative in each image, I invite you to see each piece through your own personal lens. Above all, I invite you to enjoy the curious places my work might take you!

Paper, Pen, Pencil, Marker, Laminate, Acrylic Paint, Watercolors, Epoxy Resin, Wood, Recycled Leather, Porcelain, Terra Cotta, Stoneware, Air and Polymer Clay, Discarded Magazines, Textbooks, Bell Jars, River Rocks, Driftwood, Tile, Glass, and Metal...are a few things I use for my projects.

Scientific and Abstract Illustration, Scientific and Abstract Photography, Stippling, Decoupaging, Painting, Sculpting, Molding and Casting, Wood-working, Leather-working, and Tile-working,...are a few of the ways I get things done.

Results vary, as I value experimentation, and seeing where unorthodox materials or methods will take me. I often produce canvas and framed art, photographs, sculptures, and home decor that varies widely in size, scope, and function. I like coupling works with original poetry and when naming my pieces, I employ humor and linguistic turns whenever I can.
